Legal flowcharts from tax law class

Upon some online requests, here is a backlog of 2014-dated tax law flowcharts that I did while studying for my Tax final.

Flowcharting turned out to be a great method to prep for memorizing lots of conditionalities and outcomes.

Please note these flowcharts are out of date — so don’t rely on them for legal guidance. They’re here more to show how I used flowcharting the legal rules to study. Let me know if you do the same, and I’d be very interested in seeing your flowcharts too!

Hi! (LOVE your work btw.) At my nonprofit organization, Farm Commons, we produce a variety of flowcharts for farmers on agricultural law issues. We work closely with our designer to make the flowcharts as friendly and easy to read as possible. But, it’s still quite challenging to display them in a friendly way. There’s always a little extra information or a caveat that seems to get in the way. Here’s a link to a series of our flowcharts. https://farmcommons.org/sites/default/files/resources/FC_Choosing%20an%20Entity%20Flowchart_FINAL.pdf
